Events in Tallinn
Tallinn gained Lübeck city rights in 1248, gaining admission to the Hanseatic League of European cities. Tallinn Day commemorates this historical event with a day full of cultural and fun activities.
This is a festival organized by the local community and is a true block party! There are dozens of events taking place: concerts, markets, kids event, guided tours, plays and more. Many of the otherwise closed courtyard open up to serve delicious foods or treat you with pop-up flea markets.
Night of Museums
Once a year, Estonian museums and other heritage sites open their doors to visitors for later than usual and free of charge. Over the years, the event has become a highlight of the cultural calendar attracting tens of thousands of visitors both from Estonia and abroad.
